Dry Film Lubricants, also referred to as dry lubes or solid film lubes, provide protection during relative movement and reduce friction and wear on most metals and materials. Dry Film Lubricants are useful in applications where one needs to reduce friction, but other fluid lubricants would be inappropriate including situations with high/low temperatures or high/low pressures.
Liberty Inspection has many years of experience in applying dry film lubricants to machine parts for a variety of industries. The most commonly used dry-film lubricants used in our coatings are Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2 or Moly) based lubricants mined from sulfide-rich deposits and refined for use as a lubricant.
